God Does A Lot With Our Little

MHP-Larry+Kloess+CAS-24

Some days it seems like we don’t have much to offer.  The demands of life leave us with little left over.  We want to make a big difference.  We want to feed a multitude.  But we don’t have much to offer.  Just a few dollars.  Just a bit of energy.  Just a couple of fish and a few pieces of bread.

This is where I love God.  You see, he does a lot with our little.  So when you look at your little don’t get discouraged.  Give God what you do have, and trust that he will do the miraculous in your life.  If you hold back, or if you get embarrassed about what you don’t have, I think you’ll miss out on all that God does have and all that he accomplishes through you.

I’m writing this today, because I am going into a weekend where I feel like I don’t have much to offer.  There is a need that God is asking me to meet and honestly I don’t have what it takes.  The task is beyond me.  I feel small.  Not ready.  And if left to myself, I think I’d call in sick and tell God to find someone else to step forward and meet the need.

But here is why I am not calling in sick.  My God is able to do a lot with my little.  So I’m giving all I do have with confidence, joy, and eager expectation that my God will take it and do something more than I could ever ask or imagine.

I don’t know what God is calling you to do, but I do know that you don’t have what it takes.  The task is beyond you.  The need is too great.  I get that.  Trust me.  I really do.  And I’m here to remind you to give what you do have.  Don’t let the enormity of the need, keep you from stepping forward.  God does a lot with our little.  So give your little, then sit back and watch God do the amazing and the miraculous in and through you!!!!
